Headquartered in London since 1946, Arup’s commitment to the city is long-established. The firm continues to support research into issues that may affect London in the future, too, such as how design can mitigate the urban heat island effect.

How to get there

  • By Air: Take the Heathrow, Stansted or Gatwick Express services to central
    London. From London City Airport, a shuttle bus connects with Canary Wharf
    and Liverpool Street stations. From Luton Airport, overground trains run to
    London’s Blackfriars, King’s Cross, St Pancras Internation and London Bridge
    stations.
  • By Train: Mainline railway stations are connected to tube lines. Suburban rail
    links are also available.
  • By London Underground: Use Goodge Street (Northern line), Warren Street
    (Northern and Victoria lines), Great Portland Street (Circle, Hammersmith &
    City and Metropolitan lines) or Euston Square (Circle, Hammersmith & City,
    and Metropolitan lines).
  • By Bus: 10, 24, 29, 73, 134, 390 stop on Tottenham Court Road travelling
    north and on Gower Street travelling south.
