Mark Lane, Director, UK Water Partnership
Mark Lane was a partner at international law firm Pinsent Masons for 25 years , and founded the Water Group at the firm in 1995. He now works as a consultant to the firm.
Mark was Chairman of British Water for three years from 2012 to 2015.
In 2013 , Mark was asked by the then Government Chief Scientist to lead a team of 26 experts to write a report on water technology in the UK . The report , entitled ” Tapping the Potential : A Fresh Vision for UK Water Technology ” , was published in 2014 , and led to the foundation of The UK Water Partnership in 2015 . Mark is a founding Director of The UK Water Partnership . The company exists to promote the development of new water technologies in the UK and to align those technologies with market opportunities .
Mark is also the Chair of the DIT’s Environment and Water Advisory Group , and is principal of his own consultancy company – Mark Lane Water Consultancy Ltd.See all Speakers
