Jo is Head of Environment, London, at Bird & Bird LLP. She also has a leading role in the firm’s International Environment Group – a network across Bird & Bird’s offices of specialists experienced in environmental law – and participates in the firm’s International Energy Management Group. She has extensive experience in all environmental issues – particular areas of expertise include dealing with the allocation of climate change and environmental liabilities for corporate, real estate and energy clients (in real estate and corporate transactions) and providing regulatory and risk management advice, particularly in the areas of climate change, emissions trading, renewables, energy efficiency and other low carbon legislation and policy initiatives and producer responsibility matters.
